Role Overview
Catering & Conference Sales Coordinator at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal (Marriott), located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position is open to UAE National candidates only.

Role Purpose
Support the Sales & Marketing department by managing administrative tasks, preparing sales documentation, and serving as a primary point of contact for clients and guests. Maximize revenue through effective sales techniques while maintaining guest loyalty and promoting brand image internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Perform general office duties including filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying.
- Gather materials and assemble information packages such as brochures and promotional materials.
- Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information in sales software, including commissions, leads, and third-party data.
Sales Documentation & Process Support
- Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process, including proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
Client & Guest Communication
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
- Answer guest questions about property facilities and services, including hours of operation, rates, room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, and special events.
Guest Service Standards
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
- Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Professional Conduct & Compliance
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Protect company assets.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
Communication & Collaboration
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
- Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Support team to reach common goals.
- Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
General Duties
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: None required.
