Role Overview

Cameraman at Emrb. This role involves operating cameras for live shoots and recordings in studio and outdoor locations for bulletins, programs, and other broadcast content.

Role Purpose

To capture high-quality video content through expert camera operation, technical mastery of equipment, and close collaboration with creative and technical teams to deliver the director's vision.

Key Responsibilities

Camera Operation

• Operate cameras to record and conduct live shoots in outdoor and studio environments for bulletins, programs, and related content.
• Adjust camera controls and related equipment to achieve correct lighting, exposure, and focus for each shot.

Technical Execution

• Apply technical knowledge of lenses, film, filters, light, and camera settings to each shoot to ensure the director achieves the desired effect.
• Maintain, clean, and test all broadcasting equipment and cameras daily before filming starts to ensure all equipment is in good working order.

Collaboration

• Work with electricians, lighting technicians, and directors to determine desired effects, lighting requirements, camera movements, and filming sequences.

Professional Development

• Demonstrate commitment to continuous personal development by attending relevant courses, participating in internal or external coaching, and remaining updated on new technology and industry trends to bring the latest methods to the role.
