Role Overview
Cabana Receptionist β Pool Services at Wynn Al Marjan Island, a luxury beachside resort scheduled to open in the United Arab Emirates in 2027, located less than 50 miles from Dubai International Airport on Al Marjan Island.

Wynn Al Marjan Island is an integrated resort under construction featuring 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five-star spa. The resort is designed as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests.
Role Purpose
The Cabana Receptionist β Pool Services manages the guest experience at the pool and cabana facilities, handling reservations, check-in and check-out procedures, and coordinating with resort departments to deliver personalized, luxury service that exceeds guest expectations and drives repeat visitation.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Engagement & Service Delivery
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and personalized first impression.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively provide personalized recommendations and assistance.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and inquiries.
- Build positive guest relationships and create memorable experiences that encourage repeat visitation.
- Utilize guest names and preferences whenever possible to enhance personalization.
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery situations with professionalism and urgency.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all pool, beach, resort, dining, recreation, and wellness offerings.
Cabana Operations & Reservations
- Manage cabana check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Manage cabana reservations, availability, assignments, and scheduling through the designated reservation system.
- Monitor daily cabana occupancy, reservations, and operational readiness.
- Ensure cabana inventory, amenities, and guest supplies are properly prepared and maintained.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate guest arrival amenities and special requests with Pool Services, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Resort Services, and other departments.
- Communicate operational updates, guest preferences, and service requirements effectively.
- Support colleagues in delivering exceptional guest experiences during peak operational periods.
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across all resort departments.
Facility & Standards Management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area at all times.
- Ensure all guest-facing areas present a luxury appearance consistent with Wynn standards.
- Ensure reception and guest service areas remain free of hazards and safety risks.
Administrative & Reporting
- Maintain accurate reservation records, guest profiles, service requests, and operational logs.
- Complete all required reports, checklists, track sheets, and documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and company records.
- Assist with administrative projects and departmental communications as required.
Revenue & Sales
- Promote cabana experiences, recreational offerings, wellness activities, and resort amenities.
- Identify opportunities to enhance guest experiences through available services and experiences.
- Assist with upselling of cabanas, amenities, special events, and resort experiences where appropriate.
- Support departmental revenue objectives through professional guest engagement.
Systems & Technology
- Utilize departmental systems and technology effectively.
- Utilize guest names and preferences whenever possible to enhance personalization.
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize departmental software and operational systems.
Operations & Special Events
- Support daily operational requirements and special events as assigned.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, training sessions, and continuous development programs.
Safety & Compliance
- Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and departmental standards.
- Support a safe environment for guests, colleagues, and visitors.
- Report accidents, incidents, hazards, and unsafe conditions immediately.
- Participate in mandatory safety training and emergency drills.
- Maintain awareness of departmental emergency response procedures.
- Follow pool, beach, and resort safety protocols at all times.
- Support compliance with health, hygiene, sanitation, and public area cleanliness standards.
- Utilize equipment, systems, and resources safely and responsibly.
- Support compliance with all local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Hospitality, tourism, or guest service-related certifications preferred.
- Minimum one to two years of experience in guest services, front office, reservations, concierge, or luxury hospitality operations.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel, resort, beach club, or recreation environment preferred.
- Proficiency in reservation and booking systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic understanding of cash handling and point-of-sale systems preferred.
