Role Overview

Business Researcher at Dubai Chambers, located in Dubai.

Role Purpose

Conduct high-quality economic and business research relevant to Dubai Chambers members to support the creation of a favorable business environment, enable business intelligence initiatives and policy development, and promote Dubai as a global business hub.

Key Responsibilities

Research Design & Execution

• Support the design of research frameworks, surveys, and analytical models.
• Conduct economic, sectoral, and market research using quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Manage research projects from conception through delivery.

Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyze trade, investment, and business data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Translate complex economic findings into clear, business-friendly insights.
• Contribute to forecasting, scenario analysis, and economic outlook studies.

Strategic Support

• Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic planning and policy development.
• Present insights and findings to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Studies, International Trade, Finance, or related fields; or PhD degree.
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in economic research, business analysis, or consulting.
• Knowledge and understanding of Chamber services.
• Strong understanding of macroeconomic and business indicators.
• Experience working with large datasets and statistical tools.
• Previous experience managing research projects.
• Familiarity with trade, investment, or sector analysis is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• High command of English, reading, spoken, and written.
• High command of Arabic, reading, spoken, and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Power BI, R, STATA, or similar analytical software.
• Strong research and report-writing skills.
• Knowledge of statistical and econometric methods is a plus.
