Business Analyst

Role Overview

BlackStone eIT is seeking a Business Analyst to join its growing team. The role is based at BlackStone eIT and involves bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions to ensure projects meet stakeholder expectations and drive organizational success.

Role Purpose

Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, collaborate across product, development, and quality teams, and facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to deliver effective solutions that meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Create user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams to clarify requirements.
• Map out and analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to enhance alignment.
• Work collaboratively with product owners, developers, and QA testers to deliver effective solutions.
• Provide ongoing stakeholder support and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Support the testing process by developing test cases and guiding users through user acceptance testing.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with project management software (for example, JIRA, Asana) is a plus.
