Role Purpose
Barbacks support best-in-class service and hospitality by keeping the bar and storage areas clean and stocked with outstanding energy, urgency, and attention to detail. They engage with guests to ensure memorable visits and work as part of the team to deliver exceptional hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Greet every guest immediately in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Engage with guests and ensure they are well cared for at all times.
- Show flexibility by assisting bartenders in caring for guests in whatever way is needed.
- Project positivity and have fun.
Bar Operations & Stocking
- Stock ice wells, disposables, liquor, beer and wine, and distribute bar mix items and edibles before opening and throughout shift.
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, and well stocked.
- Adhere to service standards including timeliness, quality, accuracy, and sanitation.
Compliance & Safety
- Protect guests and community by observing the rules of responsible alcohol service.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents or injury in the venue.
- Demonstrate Topgolf Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
- Apply the four Service Targets throughout serving internal and external customers.
Information Security
- Read, understand, and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl.
- Cooperate and coordinate with Internal and External Audit teams as appropriate.
- Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by wasl IT Department.
- Immediately report all Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, and incidents (actual or suspected) to the IT Service Desk.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in various committees such as Staff Committee, Green Theme, Food Committee, or Sport Committee, and organizational projects as requested.
- Train as a Fire Marshall or First Aider as requested.

Reports to: Hospitality Manager, Assistant Hospitality Manager, or Head Bartender.
