Autonomous Fleet Operations Operator

Role Overview

Autonomous Fleet Operations Operator at Burjline Builders. The position monitors the operational status of autonomous vehicles and coordinates appropriate response to incidents, accidents and other operational emergencies.

Role Purpose

Monitor real-time autonomous vehicle operations, identify and respond rapidly to traffic accidents, emergencies and operational incidents, and coordinate ground support teams to resolve issues in accordance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring & Situational Awareness

• Monitor the real-time operational status of autonomous vehicles.
• Identify traffic accidents, emergencies and operational incidents.
• Monitor incident progress through to appropriate resolution or escalation.

Incident Response & Coordination

• Respond to traffic accidents, emergencies and operational incidents.
• Rapidly dispatch emergency work orders to relevant ground support teams.
• Coordinate on-site response activities with operational teams.
• Maintain clear communication with ground teams during incidents.

Procedures & Documentation

• Execute map interruption processes in accordance with operational guidelines.
• Escalate incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Follow established emergency response and operational procedures at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions and responses.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a control room, command centre, emergency response centre, fleet monitoring environment or similar operation is preferred.
• Experience within transportation, automotive, logistics or mobility operations would be advantageous.

• Strong computer literacy and ability to work with monitoring systems.
• Ability to follow escalation procedures accurately.
