Role Purpose

Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to assigned work. Assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments within process engineering while making minor adaptations and modifications to established methods. Contribute indirectly to cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Evaluation and Application

• Evaluate and select appropriate standard engineering techniques and procedures for assigned tasks.
• Apply engineering criteria with judgment to make minor adaptations and modifications as needed.
• Perform job tasks that impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations.

Design and Engineering Support

• Assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments within the process engineering function.
• Support conventional types of plans, investigations, and surveys with relatively few complex features for which precedents exist.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• Additional experience within one functional area preferred.
