Role Purpose

Utilize existing production procedures to solve routine and standard problems while developing conceptual knowledge of production and fabrication theories, practices, and procedures. Perform entry-level assignments supporting the Production discipline under guidance from team members.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Development

• Develop design ideas based on customer interests, budgets, and market research.
• Create rough product designs using sketches and computer software.
• Create full product designs and specifications using computer software modeling techniques.
• Conduct theoretical testing on design models.

Product Engineering

• Analyze the market and industry product trends.
• Select product materials and design the product manufacturing process.
• Oversee assembly and ensure that products conform to market specifications and safety regulations.

Collaboration

• Meet with the development team to discuss product ideas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Product Engineer or similar role.
• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Product Engineer.

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced analytical and design skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of industry and market trends.
