Associate Engineer, Piping at KBR.

Role Purpose

Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to piping assignments, making minor adaptations and modifications under direct supervision. Assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments involving conventional plans with relatively few complex features for which precedents exist.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

• Independently evaluate and select appropriate engineering techniques and procedures for piping work.
• Apply standard engineering criteria with judgment to adapt and modify approaches for specific assignments.
• Assist in the design of larger and more complex piping assignments.
• Support work on conventional types of plans, investigations, and surveys with relatively few complex features.

Impact & Operations

• Contribute to cost containment through correctly performed job tasks.
• Support efficiency and profitability in operational execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• Additional experience within one functional area.
