Assistant Storekeeper

Role Overview

Assistant Storekeeper at Ali & Sons Holding LLC, located in Al Ain, UAE. The role supports parts and warehouse operations for MG, managing stock receiving, storage, inventory control, parts ordering, documentation, and warehouse organization while ensuring compliance with company SOPs and dealer standards.

Role Purpose

Assist the Storekeeper in managing daily parts store and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, proper documentation, and compliance with company procedures and dealer standards.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Receiving & Verification

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts against supplier invoices and documents.
• Report damaged, missing, or discrepant stocks and assist with related claims.
• Assist with receiving and dispatching shipments and maintain required inward and outward records.

Parts Ordering & Coordination

• Prepare and follow up on stock, VOR, STO, and local purchase orders.
• Coordinate with the PDC, Inventory Controller, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties on parts orders and shipments.

Inventory Management & Recording

• Ensure accurate receiving, issuing, and recording of parts in SAP and physical inventory.
• Maintain proper warehouse locations, bin identities, and stock records for easy tracking.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and report stock variances, slow-moving, and defective parts.

Warehouse Operations & Organization

• Ensure the warehouse, shelving, equipment, and stock are clean, organized, and secure.
• Assist the Storekeeper in managing daily parts store and warehouse operations.

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, dealer standards, and warehouse procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the National Parts Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School certificate or Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a storekeeping, warehouse, or parts-related role.
• Experience within an automotive dealership or parts environment is preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with inventory systems such as SAP is preferred.
