Assistant Parts Advisor

Role Overview

Assistant Parts Advisor with Ali & Sons Holding LLC, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role supports the Parts Team in delivering efficient counter sales and maintaining accurate parts inventory records.

Role Purpose

Assist customers and technicians with parts availability, pricing, quotations, and sales transactions while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient counter operations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Support

• Greet customers and assist with parts enquiries, including part numbers, prices, and availability.
• Advise customers on the use and care of parts and related products or services.
• Provide timely support to customers and technicians regarding parts availability and delivery.

Sales & Documentation

• Prepare parts estimates, quotations, delivery orders, and sales invoices.
• Support the Parts Team in processing counter sales and credit sales in line with approved procedures.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain accurate sales and inventory records and support computerized stock control and re-ordering.
• Prepare and follow up on loss sales reports to support inventory planning.

Policies & Procedures

• Maintain knowledge of parts return, warranty, and delivery policies and communicate these to customers and technicians.
• Follow company SOPs and Parts Dealer Network procedures.

Operations & Housekeeping

• Assist with accessories displays and ensure the parts counter and working area are clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Sales Supervisor / Procurement & Stores Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or certification in Material Management is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience in automotive parts sales or a dealership environment is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Computer literate with strong skills in computerized inventory or warehouse management systems.
