Role Purpose
The Assistant Outlet Manager assists in the daily supervision of restaurant operations, menu planning, sanitation standards maintenance, and floor support during peak meal periods. The role strives to continually improve guest and team member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Staff Supervision & Development
- Assist in supervising outlet staff and monitoring their performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions with the assigned team in line with departmental SOPs.
- Evaluate the performance of the assigned team and initiate internal development and promotions.
- Collaborate with the Outlet Manager to create employee schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Operations & Standards
- Ensure quality guest service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Help in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling expenses.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
- Assist in conducting regular audits to monitor sales performance and adherence to operational standards.
Marketing & Revenue
- Be actively involved in the outlet's promotional activities.
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven work experience as Assistant Outlet Manager or similar role.
- Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required.
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
