Role Overview

Assistant Manager – Wealth Support at Emirates NBD in the UAE. This role is open to UAE Nationals and is part of the Wealth Management division's investment support team.

Role Purpose

Lead the investment support team within Wealth Management to ensure smooth investment support operations and high-quality service to investment advisors. Manage administrative, operational, compliance, and client support activities that enable advisors to focus on client relationships and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Team Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the investment support team, ensuring all processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with internal standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop investment support professionals while fostering a high-performance and collaborative team culture.
  • Coordinate with investment advisors to ensure their operational and administrative support needs are addressed promptly and professionally.

Process Improvement & Effectiveness

  • Implement process improvements to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of investment support services.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure investment support activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, audit standards, and risk management expectations.

Client & Advisor Support

  • Support investment advisors with the preparation of client reports, presentations, documentation, and related service materials.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues impacting client service and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in investment management or operations are preferred.
  • Proven experience in investment support or a related field.
  • Strong background in operational process management and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, investment support processes, and regulatory compliance requirements within investment services.
