Role Overview

Assistant Front Office Manager at Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel, a property within the Colbert Collection. The role is based in Dubai.

Role Purpose

To supervise and lead the front office team by combining pleasant personality with dynamic professional attitude. The role requires efficient complaint handling, solid customer service approach, and preparation of monthly reports and budgets for the front office department.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and manage the front office team.
  • Train and motivate front office staff to deliver high-quality customer service.

Operations & Guest Services

  • Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
  • Manage guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Handle VIP guests and special requests with utmost care and attention to detail.
  • Stay informed about local attractions and events in Bandung to provide guests with valuable recommendations.

Strategy & Performance

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and optimize front office performance metrics and guest satisfaction scores.
  • Develop and execute revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Coordination & Compliance

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and local regulations.
  • Implement and maintain efficient front office procedures and systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required.
  • Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
  • Proven work experience as Assistant Front Office Manager or similar role.

Skills & Competencies

  • Full working knowledge of Opera system is essential.
  • Active listening and effective communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
