Role Overview
AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Architectural / ID Inspector to join our UAE team. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background and proven experience in site operations, including coordination with contractors, quality control, and implementation of interior design concepts on-site.

Role Purpose
This role is integral to delivering high-quality, functional, and aesthetically compelling interior environments across a range of projects through oversight of design execution, site coordination, and quality assurance from schematic design through construction implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Design Development & Coordination
- Support the development and execution of interior design concepts from schematic design through to construction documentation and site implementation.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction phase.
- Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of interior elements.
Site Inspections & Quality Control
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and resolve on-site design issues.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with local codes, health and safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture.
- 7–10 years of experience in interior design, with at least 3 years in site-based roles in the KSA.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in Mosques, Museums, palaces or high-end fit-out experience.
- Must have supervision consultancy experience in KSA.
- Preferred: Experience working with international design consultancies or PMC environments.
- Preferred: LEED, WELL, or other sustainability certifications.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
- Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, and detailing.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
