Role Overview

Apprentice - Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at flydubai, based in Dubai.

Role Purpose

To acquire specialized skills under the sponsorship of the flydubai Maintenance & Engineering department and provide assistance to the team in tasks that contribute to overall maintenance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Learning & Development

• Engage in continuous learning and skill development through on-the-job training, formal education, and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and expertise.
• Study aviation regulations, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures required for different aircraft types through comprehensive familiarization.

Aircraft Maintenance Operations

• Learn to handle and maintain specialized tools, equipment, and machinery used in aircraft maintenance while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in a logbook as per aviation regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to quality control measures and standards to ensure all maintenance activities meet or exceed industry benchmarks.

Collaboration & Safety

• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and technicians to efficiently complete tasks and contribute to overall maintenance objectives.
• Adhere to flydubai safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Information Security

• Read and comply with ISR policies of the Company and diligently report any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or Information Security team.
• Complete all required ISR awareness sessions and follow associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma
• 0 to 2 years of experience
