Role Overview
AI Data Operations Manager at Figure, a San Jose-based AI robotics company hiring in the UAE. Figure develops autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets.

Role Purpose
Own a meaningful piece of Figure's data collection operation by hitting volume, quality, and velocity targets, building the systems to reach them, and coordinating across engineering, product, and operations to develop new hardware, software, and operational systems that produce human data for humanoid robots.
Key Responsibilities
Contributor Strategy & Execution
- Own contributor acquisition, activation, and retention strategy and execution.
- Identify and launch in new geographies, managing localization, partnerships, and community building to establish presence in target regions.
Operations & Systems
- Coordinate with engineering, product, and ops to develop new hardware, software, and operational systems.
- Own your category's data dashboard, tracking volume, quality, and throughput metrics daily, identifying bottlenecks, and shipping operational fixes fast.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with local partners, agencies, and vendors to accelerate growth.
Stakeholder Management & Translation
- Serve as the connective tissue between contributors and internal teams, surfacing hardware/software friction, translating field feedback into actionable product improvements, and advocating for your workstreams' needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4+ years in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, growth, or startup operations roles, ideally with exposure to a frontier technology business.
- Demonstrated ability to own outcomes.
- Experience working across cultures or in international markets.
Skills & Competencies
- Comfortable rapidly building and deploying apps/agents using AI coding tools; zero technical academic background necessary.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong project management instincts; comfortable managing multiple contributors, sessions, or sites simultaneously and keeping all plates spinning.
Additional Information
- Commitment to 5 days/week in-office collaboration required.
- Bonus: Experience scaling consumer mobile applications or marketplace platforms.
