Role Overview

Accountant - Employee Expenses at Dubai Airports, based in Dubai. This role sits within Corporate Services, supporting the organization's Finance function.

Role Purpose

To manage employee payroll expenses, claims, and benefits administration with accuracy and timeliness. You will analyze payroll data, reconcile records, validate contributions, and resolve employee and stakeholder queries to support seamless payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Analysis & Processing

  • Analyze monthly payroll changes and reports.
  • Recalculate payroll entitlements.
  • Investigate payroll differences.
  • Prepare payroll payment records and invoices.

Claims & Expenses Review

  • Review employee claims, end-of-service benefits, temporary staff payments, education claims, and allowances.
  • Validate all employee-related expenses according to organizational policies.

Reconciliation & Compliance

  • Reconcile payroll-generated reports with GPSSA billing records, DEWS schedules, and other statutory or third-party benefit payment records.
  • Validate employee contribution data and payment amounts.
  • Identify any non-compliance using accounting knowledge and ERP systems.

Stakeholder Engagement & Support

  • Respond to employee and stakeholder queries relating to payroll, claims, and employee expenses in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, Business Units, and external parties to resolve operational issues.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Higher Diploma or Diploma Degree in Accounting preferred.
  • 6 months to 3 years of relevant experience in payroll or employee expenses.
  • 1 to 5 years of overall experience.
  • Knowledge of employee payroll expenses including employee claims, end-of-service (EOS), pension, and account reconciliation.
