Account Executive - Public

Role Overview

Account Executive 2, Direct Sales at Dell Technologies. This is a field sales position focused on developing new accounts and driving expansion across existing customer relationships.

Role Purpose

Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting and lead qualification, close smaller deals independently, and support larger pursuits while developing relationships with end-users and generating meaningful sales revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Pipeline Development

• Run daily prospecting cadences and qualify leads to book meetings with target accounts.
• Build pipeline through consistent prospecting activity.
• Generate pipeline to meet activity and pipeline generation goals.

Sales Execution

• Own smaller sales cycles end-to-end from qualification through close.
• Support larger pursuits with research and coordination.
• Prepare proposals and manage basic pricing and approvals.

Forecasting & Administration

• Keep CRM records current and accurate.
• Forecast weekly.
• Demonstrate consistent activity and accurate forecasting.

Learning & Collaboration

• Learn advanced sales techniques and collaborate with senior sellers to accelerate growth.
• Work as a team player with cross-functional collaboration mindset.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of field sales experience for Outside Sales.
• Evidence of meeting activity and pipeline generation goals.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (desirable).
• Completion of foundational sales training such as prospecting, discovery, or negotiation (desirable).
