Academy Reservations Clerk at wasl Hospitality & Leisure (Viya), operating within the Golf Academy department.

Role Purpose
To handle all customer requests, enquiries, and complaints in an efficient and courteous manner. To consolidate all payments made through Academy Reservations and record and bank them accurately by following agreed procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Payment Processing
- Accept green-fee payments for the Par 3 Course, Driving Range, Golf Simulator, and Putting Course.
- Accept payments for rental clubs for use around the Academy.
- Accept bookings and payments for golf lessons.
- Consolidate all payments made through the Academy Reservations.
- Record and bank payments accurately by following agreed procedures.
Bookings & Customer Service
- Deal with all golf tuition enquiries.
- Assist in the control of all lesson packages, group bookings, and classes offered at the Golf Academy.
- Efficiently handle requests by members and guests for special order items and club repair services.
Operations & Coordination
- Work closely with the team of Golf Professionals to ensure any golf events and tournaments booked around the academy and Par 3 Course are managed efficiently.
- Assist the Stock Coordinator with all required stock inventory procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the Stock Coordinator and Retail Manager to ensure the Academy shop is tidy, clean, and stocked with appropriate merchandise at all times.
Quality & Compliance
- Apply awareness of Dubai Golf Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Apply the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers.
- Read, understand, and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.
- Report all Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, and incidents (actual or suspected) immediately to the IT Service Desk.
- Cooperate, coordinate, and share information with Internal and External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
- Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
Additional Duties
- Participate in various extra activities contributing towards individual and organizational growth in line with the Club's strive for continuous improvement.
- Represent the department or a group in various committees, such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee, or Sport Committee, or on projects.
- Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Graduate.
- Good knowledge of the golf booking system.
Skills & Competencies
- Pleasant and friendly personality.
- Good command of the English language and excellent communication skills.
- Front of the House person able to deal with customer complaints.
- Computer literate in Word and Excel.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
