Role Overview

Islamic Education Teacher at Waad Education.

Role Purpose

Deliver Islamic Education instruction aligned with the approved curriculum, fostering Islamic values, positive behavior, and academic progress in students through interactive and modern teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum & Instruction

• Teach Islamic Education according to the approved curriculum.
• Prepare and develop lesson plans and educational strategies tailored to student needs.
• Employ diverse and interactive teaching strategies to stimulate student participation.
• Utilize modern educational media and technologies in the teaching process.

Student Development & Support

• Promote Islamic values, principles, and positive behavior among students.
• Monitor student academic progress and provide support to students requiring reinforcement.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and learning-conducive classroom environment.

Assessment & Evaluation

• Prepare assignments, activities, tests, and continuous assessments.

Collaboration & Engagement

• Collaborate with the department team, school administration, and parents in serving student interests.
• Participate in school activities, events, meetings, and professional development programs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Sharia, Islamic Education, or a related field.
• Prior experience teaching Islamic Education, preferably at the primary level.
• Experience in private schools is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of modern curricula and teaching strategies.
• Effective classroom management and student interaction skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational platforms.
