Role Purpose
Oversee complete workshop operations at a CJDR (Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram) service facility, ensuring timely vehicle repairs, quality standards, team productivity, and seamless coordination across service departments.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Workflow
- Supervise daily workshop operations and manage the complete vehicle service cycle from intake through quality inspection and delivery.
- Allocate repair assignments to technicians based on skill level, workload capacity, and specific job requirements.
- Monitor job progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to promised delivery schedules.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, Parts Department, Warranty Department, and cross-functional teams to optimize workflow.
Facilities & Compliance
- Maintain workshop facilities, tools, and equipment in proper working condition and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Quality Assurance
- Implement quality control measures and address any deficiencies in repair work.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in an automotive workshop or similar service environment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes, technical standards, and manufacturer specifications.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop technicians.
- Proficiency in inventory and resource management with focus on cost optimization and productivity.
