Role Overview
Workshop Supervisor at Al-Futtaim Automotive – BYD in Saudi Arabia. This role leads daily operations at a BYD service facility and is essential to ensuring technicians deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance services that meet OEM standards while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.

Role Purpose
Lead workshop operations to ensure technicians deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance services that meet OEM standards while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Workflow Management
- Allocate repair orders to technicians based on skill level, technical complexity, and workload capacity to maximize labor utilization and productivity.
- Monitor work-in-progress and track job completion against schedules, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to meet customer commitments on time.
- Collaborate with Service Advisors and Parts teams to coordinate workflow and protect customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain workshop safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards while driving continuous operational improvements.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise technician performance, provide technical guidance and coaching, and ensure adherence to quality and efficiency benchmarks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor or similar leadership role in an automotive service environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repairs and maintenance procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, drive productivity, and maintain quality standards.
- Knowledge of OEM standards and automotive safety regulations.
