Role Overview
Workface Planner - Electrical and Instrumentation at Samsung E&A. This position is based at the project execution location.

Role Purpose
Develop Construction Volume and Integrated Work Package schedules at ISO level with subcontractors, issue work packages, track progress, and coordinate execution across field supervision and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and Scheduling
- Develop CV (Construction Volume) and IWP (Integrated Work Package) schedule to ISO level with subcontractor.
- Issue IWP to subcontractors and track progress.
- Check the IWP schedule and inform the Site Integrity (SI) team.
- Modify, review or adjust IWP as necessary.
Coordination and Communication
- Communicate with Site Supervision (SV) and subcontractors on each IWP status and progress tracking.
- Coordinate IWP execution with field supervision.
- Check prerequisite conditions for piping work, including local foundation, local platform, and structure readiness.
Review and Quality Control
- Review IWP for completeness and accuracy.
- Monitor IWP progress via Power BI.
- Check CV (Construction Volume) with SI and create 3D volume files.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of Electrical and Instrumentation field experience in Construction, or minimum 2+ years of Planning experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Data Tables.
- Competent use of 3D model review tools such as Navisworks and UPV.
- Understanding of MS Power BI tool.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Problem solving and conflict resolution ability.
