Role Overview

Weight bridge Operator at Matar Al Baqmi Holding Company. The role manages the weighing of incoming and outgoing trucks, maintains accurate records, and ensures smooth vehicle movement at the facility.

Role Purpose

Operate weighbridge systems for all vehicle traffic, record and verify weights and documentation, coordinate across departments, and maintain accurate daily records to support facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

Weighbridge Operations

• Operate the weighbridge system for all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Record truck weights, vehicle details, material type, supplier/customer information, and quantities accurately.
• Issue and verify weighbridge tickets and delivery documents.
• Maintain daily weighing records and prepare reports.

Quality Assurance & Monitoring

• Check delivery and dispatch documents against weighbridge records.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies in vehicle weight or documentation.
• Ensure the weighbridge equipment and system are functioning properly and report any issues.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Production, and Security teams.

Compliance & Documentation

• Follow company safety, security, and operational procedures.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all transactions.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Weighbridge Operator, preferably in a feed mill, manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, or industrial environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic computer skills, especially MS Excel and data entry.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work shifts and handle high-volume truck movements.
