Role Purpose
Oversee the operation, maintenance, and management of water treatment and distribution systems at Al Udeid Air Base. Ensure safe, reliable water service for base personnel through strong technical expertise, proven leadership, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & System Management
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the base water treatment and distribution systems.
- Monitor system performance, identify operational issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Respond to emergencies, troubleshoot system failures, and coordinate repairs as needed.
Maintenance & Optimization
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize system efficiency and longevity.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Leadership & Development
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to water system operators and support staff.
- Conduct training sessions to maintain team competency and promote best practices in water system management.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare operational reports, maintain accurate records, and assist in budgeting and resource planning.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Class III Water System Operations Certification required
- Minimum 4 years of water system operations experience
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, water quality standards, and distribution system operations

Additional Information
- Valid U.S. Driver's License required
- Valid U.S. Passport preferred
- Must meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements as outlined in USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
- Must hold and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather, and hazardous conditions
- Travel: 100% in deployed location
