Role Overview
Warehouse Supervisor at Armacell, responsible for warehouse operations and inventory management.
Role Purpose
Manage daily warehouse operations including receipt and issuance of goods, inventory control, and staff training to ensure accurate SAP records, cost-effective storage, and compliance with safety and warehouse management standards.
Key Responsibilities
Receipt and Inventory Management
- Monitor daily receipts of finished goods production and incoming goods from external sources.
- Update all entries in SAP according to actual receipts.
- Report daily stock levels and raise material requirements.
- Maintain safety stock of minimum one month for consumables and two months for raw material, accounting for goods in transit.
Issuance and Consumption
- Issue raw material and consumables to operations team at intervals agreed mutually with the operations team.
- Report daily consumption and alert management to any irregularities in consumption patterns.
Logistics and Cost Optimization
- Ensure maximum loading capacity in each trailer and container to increase cost effectiveness.
- Alert the team to any empty space in trailers to accommodate additional material.
Warehouse Maintenance
- Track scrap removal and disposal activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the total warehouse area.
Training and Compliance
- Train warehouse staff on SAP transactions and barcode utilization for effective system use and data accuracy.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety measures and warehouse and materials (WAM) management requirements defined in the agreement.
General Operations
- Attend to other tasks required by supply chain management or management as needed to improve Armacell performance and achieve organizational goals.
