WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR

Role Overview

Warehouse Coordinator at Cummins Arabia. This role manages daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of finished goods while maintaining strict health, safety, and quality standards.

Role Purpose

To execute daily operational logistics processes, receive and store incoming goods, perform quality control checks, pick and pack products for shipment, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment that meets Cummins quality standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environmental

• Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.

Quality Control

• Ensure quality using Cummins Quality control processes.
• Follow all applicable standard work, work instruction and process documentation and established quality procedures.
• Perform quality checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Identify and control non-conforming material.
• Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.

Warehouse Operations

• Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label and package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Operate manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per customer expectations.
• Manage physical inventory utilizing inventory control methodologies to maintain inventory and meet customer expectations.
• Utilize warehousing tools, systems and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations.
• Evaluate and select appropriate transportation mode and equipment type by lane through shipment volume analysis against business requirements to provide optimal shipping method balancing cost, quality and time.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and action plans.
• Seek ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow and employee development.
• Demonstrate a high level of competency in core work skills.

Teamwork & Maintenance

• Communicate effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.
• Ensure training completion in line with business requirements.
• Ensure clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and support planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
• Work with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair.
• Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in warehouse environment, finished goods, or 3PL.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Supply Chain or Business).
• Understanding of engines and generators.
• ISO 9001 or Data Management/HSE background is preferred.
