Role Overview
Warehouse Assistant at AWR Group. The role supports daily warehouse operations across receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching goods and spare parts.
Role Purpose
Assist in daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching goods or spare parts, while maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring proper handling of materials, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Container Operations
- Assist in container de-vanning by pasting case labels on offloaded boxes.
- Clean containers after offloading.
Warehouse Support
- Assist store clerks in sorting, binning, picking, inspection, and packing activities.
- Support loading and unloading of containers and delivery vehicles.
- Support during stock counts at PDC and branch locations.
- Accompany delivery vehicles as required to unload materials at customer premises.
- Support housekeeping activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School or Higher Secondary level education.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the automotive or spare parts industry.
- Knowledge of inventory handling, stock management systems, and safe material handling procedures.
- Diploma.
- 2–3 years' sales experience in automotive preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Physically fit; work involves heavy lifting activity.
- Speak Hindi fluently.
- Read numbers in English.
- Strong communication, selling, and customer service skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
