Role Purpose
Deliver exceptional guest service by maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring seamless food and beverage service in a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner.
- Present menus in a proactive manner.
- Anticipate and service of guests' requirements at all times.
- Exceed guest satisfaction by knowing preferences and update profiles.
- Identify potential problems and anticipate guest needs, ask for assistance before service breakdown occurs.
Knowledge & Compliance
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the restaurant menu and daily specials at all times.
- Be familiar with the beverage service including glasses used and appropriate garnishes.
- Maintain the HACCP and FIFO standards as required by the regional governing body.
- Follow care program at all times and report issues through the system to maintenance.
Operations & Standards
- Ensure correct grooming standards are followed at all times.
- Use opening and closing checklist to ensure smooth opening and closing of the venue.
- Ensure service stations are constantly cleared and re-stocked during service.
- Keep manager on duty updated of any guest feedback so they can update the Glitch Report.
- Report all issues and negative guest feedbacks properly on glitch system.
Reporting & Performance
- Follow up on restaurants financial, LQA, TrustYou targets on a daily basis.
Training & Development
- Attend all necessary briefings and training sessions as instructed by the Manager.
- Perform any duties and special projects as requested by management whether in your own department or any other department in the hotel.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Experience using POS systems.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional grooming and presentation.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage (Russian, Arabic, Turkish).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
