Waiter / Waitress - Independent All-Day Dining

Role Overview

Waiter/Waitress position with Radiant Hospitality Company at an award-winning independent all-day dining restaurant in Dubai's creative arts district.

Company Overview

A celebrated, chef-driven, boutique all-day dining venue where food, warmth and personality are core to the concept. The restaurant operates as a close-knit front-of-house team in a high-touch service environment.

Role Purpose

As the primary point of contact for guests, shape the dining experience from the first greeting to the final bill by reading tables, guiding menu choices, and ensuring every guest feels welcome, important and relaxed.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Experience

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with confidence.
• Guide guests through the food and beverage offering and make confident recommendations and specials suggestions.
• Read the table and tailor service to individual guest needs.
• Deliver dishes to the correct seat numbers, introduce each dish and its main components with detail.
• Check back on guest satisfaction after delivering dishes.
• Handle special requests and guest allergies with care.

Operations & Mise en Place

• Maintain mise en place, cleanliness and floor awareness throughout service.
• Set, clear and reset the section seamlessly.
• Prepare and settle bills accurately, take payment and return correct change.
• Stay current on the menu, specials and any item shortages.

Standards & Compliance

• Follow all food-safety and hygiene standards.
• Uphold grooming and presentation standards.

Team Support

• Support colleagues and cover sections where service dictates.
• Help coach and train new joiners.
• Communicate guest feedback promptly to the manager to protect a positive, memorable experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume casual or upscale-casual full-service restaurant.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospitality diploma or degree is an asset.
• Must hold the right to work in the United Arab Emirates.

Skills & Competencies

• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Excellent communication and guest-engagement skills.
• Confidence in upselling with strong food and beverage knowledge.
• Ability to stay calm, fast and accurate under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with strong work ethic and reliability.
• Professional appearance and presentation.

Additional Information

• Full-time role, 6 days per week.
• Based in Dubai.
• Immediate start.
• Salary: AED 5,000–6,500 per month depending on experience, all-in (basic AED 3,000–3,900, plus housing and transport allowances).
• Eligible for service charge and gratuities.

• Annual flight allowance for single status.
