Waiter / Head Waiter (Russian / Turkish Speakers)

Role Overview

Fundamental Hospitality is seeking an experienced Waiter / Head Waiter fluent in Russian and/or Turkish to join the team at GAIA in Dubai.

Role Purpose

To deliver exceptional service standards to guests while coordinating dining operations and team members to ensure a seamless hospitality experience.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Provide attentive table service to guests in Russian and Turkish.
• Communicate menu offerings, specials, and recommendations to international guests.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve service issues.

Team Coordination

• Lead and supervise front-of-house staff as appropriate for head waiter duties.
• Coordinate service flow with kitchen and bar teams.
• Train and mentor junior service staff.

Operations

• Maintain tables and dining areas to established standards.
• Manage reservation and seating logistics.
• Execute closing and opening procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Waiter or Head Waiter in full-service dining establishments.
• Fluency in Russian and/or Turkish.
• Experience serving in upscale or fine dining environments preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Fluent communication in Russian and/or Turkish.
• Strong knowledge of dining protocols and service standards.
• Guest engagement and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership and team coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational ability.
