Role Overview
Waiter (Fine Dining Experienced) at RISE Enterprise, a luxury café in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
Role Purpose
To provide attentive, knowledgeable fine dining service that upholds impeccable service standards and genuine hospitality, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and memorable culinary experience.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Warmly greet and welcome guests, escort them to their tables, and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of tables, ensuring a pleasant dining environment for guests.
- Accurately process guest payments and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
Menu & Beverage Expertise
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens, to confidently answer guest inquiries and offer recommendations.
- Offer expert guidance on beverage selections, ensuring guests enjoy a well-rounded culinary experience.
Order Management & Coordination
- Accurately record guest orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve dishes with grace and efficiency, adhering to proper etiquette and timing standards.
Leadership & Management (Senior Waiter Only)
- Train and guide junior waitstaff, sharing knowledge and expertise to elevate the overall service standards.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and tact, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Oversee the flow of service on the floor, ensuring seamless coordination between waitstaff and kitchen staff.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager/Supervisor in managing shifts, ensuring smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Fine Dining Waiter: Minimum of 1 year experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.
- Senior Fine Dining Waiter: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent English; Arabic preferred but not required.
- In-depth knowledge of fine dining etiquette, beverage pairings, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
