Role Overview
VTC Technician I at V2X, supporting video teleconferencing operations globally. This position requires an active Secret Clearance.

Role Purpose
The VTC Technician conducts video teleconferencing conferences and operates VTC equipment, including conferencing systems, consoles, Digital Video Recorders, cameras, microphones, and computers, to support VTC events. The technician reports to the Site Manager as required and works on Program OMDAC-SWACA.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Operations
- Set up and operate VTC equipment.
- Operate, administer, and maintain the VTC Bridge.
- Manipulate the bridge to provide technical support for all VTC circuits attached.
- Adjust sound and light levels for optimum performance of equipment and comfort of customers.
Connectivity & Configuration
- Establish end-to-end secure and non-secure connectivity to support conferences.
- Establish proper cable connection and routing to various Audio/Video and communication links.
- Troubleshoot equipment; configure modems and data timing and transfer rates.
Support & Maintenance
- Coordinate with customers to ensure equipment is operational.
- Troubleshoot VTC and connectivity problems with local and distant end technical control facilities and Service Desk to restore communication and resolve poor reception and transmission issues.
- Resolve connectivity problems with technical personnel.
- Perform weekly maintenance on all associated VTC equipment.
- Perform other duties and assignments as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Video Teleconferencing or Audio Video Productions.
- One year of related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for one year of experience, up to a maximum of a 4-year bachelor's degree for three years general experience.
- Experience with a customer service-oriented company.
- Ability to work rotating shift schedules providing 24-hour, 7-day week coverage.
- Satisfy all host country requirements to legally work in the host country, including ability to obtain and maintain a host nation visa and host nation driver's license.

- Proficiency in using desktop and laptop computers.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft productivity software.
- Proficiency in using Email client software.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting Codecs and Crestrons.
