Role Overview

Vice President, Technology & Data - Asset Management at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), based in Abu Dhabi.

Role Purpose

Identify growth opportunities and technological solutions across core Asset Management systems, data platforms, and digital operations. Develop technology, digital and data strategy and roadmap and ensure its implementation within FAB Asset Management. Act as change agent in FAB Asset Management's digital ambitions, proactively advising leadership on relevant trends.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

• Develop IT and Data policies and procedures.
• Develop technology, digital and data strategy and roadmap for FAB Asset Management.
• Act as change agent in FAB Asset Management's digital ambitions, proactively advising leadership on relevant trends.

Systems & Infrastructure

• Maintain deep knowledge of IT systems, data platforms and enterprise architecture required to run an asset management firm, including Portfolio Management Systems and advanced technical solutions such as asset pooling and tokenization.
• Maintain deep knowledge of all digital tools and advanced analytics relevant to an asset manager, including client reporting and data management systems.
• Develop, operationalize and optimize FAB Asset Management technology and data infrastructure.

Operations & Performance

• Demonstrate expertise in leveraging and implementing technology to improve operations.
• Deliver on business KPIs and technology, digital and data adoption targets.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as business lines, to align strategies and initiatives.
• Remain up to date with regulatory standards and frameworks that will ultimately deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience.
• Business digital and technology partnerships.
• Enterprise analytics and artificial intelligence.
• Digital platform operations.
• Data governance and quality.
• Asset Management Systems experience, for example Portfolio Management System.
• Asset Pooling experience.
• Tokenization experience.
