Role Overview

VP - Risk & Regulatory Systems, Retail Technology at Mashreq, leading Retail technology transformation initiatives with close interaction across Risk, Regulatory systems, digital banking platforms, and business heads including RBG, Credit Management, Risk, CX, and related functions.

Role Purpose

Lead Retail technology transformation across Risk and Regulatory systems while acting as a strategic advisor and execution leader. Drive platform modernization, strengthen delivery governance, enable AI-led innovation including prompt engineering adoption, and ensure scalable, resilient, and secure technology solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Modernization & Integration

• Drive modernization and optimization of BPM platforms and Risk Regulatory applications.
• Enable integration with AECB, Central Bank, and external systems such as DLD.
• Ensure seamless integration between in-house BPM workflow solutions, Regulatory applications, core banking, and fintech platforms.

Process Digitization

• Enable end-to-end process digitization across onboarding and processing workflows for Credit Card, Personal Loans, Mortgage, and Over Draft products.

AI & Automation

• Embed AI-powered automation and intelligent workflows across systems.
• Enable AI-led innovation, including prompt engineering adoption.

Governance & Strategy

• Strengthen delivery governance.
• Operate at a senior leadership level to guide the organization's digital transformation strategy.

Stakeholder Leadership

• Influence stakeholders across Technology, Business, Risk, and Compliance to deliver high-impact, compliant, and efficient digital transformation outcomes.
