Role Overview

VMware Engineer position at DeepSource Technologies in Riyadh, KSA. This role requires Saudi National candidacy.

Role Purpose

Design, configure, deploy, and manage VMware virtualization infrastructure for clients while optimizing system performance and ensuring reliable operations through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design and Deployment

• Design, configure, and deploy VMware virtualization solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and design customized VMware solutions.

System Administration and Management

• Manage and administer VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines.
• Create and maintain virtual machine templates, snapshots, and clones.
• Implement and maintain VMware NSX for network virtualization.

Performance and Support

• Monitor system performance and optimize configurations for efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware infrastructure and virtual machines.

Documentation

• Create and update technical documentation, including installation guides and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a VMware Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge and experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server.
• Experience with VMware NSX for network virtualization.
• Hands-on experience with virtual machine management, templates, and snapshots.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions for VMware.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification preferred.
