Role Overview

V.I.E - Subcontract Administrator LNG Trains / Technical Buildings at Technip Energies. Based on-site at Ruwais Industrial City, United Arab Emirates. Start date: October 1, 2026. Duration: 12 months to 2 years (to be determined).

This assignment is for the Ruwais LNG mega-project, delivered by Technip Energies in partnership with JGC and NMDC within the TJN JV joint-venture.

Role Purpose

Support the local Subcontracting Manager in administering work contracts, managing subcontractor relationships, and protecting the company's interests on the Ruwais LNG project. Coordinate contract execution, financial tracking, claims management, and liaison across project disciplines to ensure uninterrupted subcontractor performance and project continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Contracts & Commercial Management

• Understand the contractual and commercial operations of Technip Energies' Work Markets, particularly those specific to Ruwais LNG project contracts.
• Prepare contractual amendments.
• Track correspondence related to Work Markets activities.

Subcontractor Administration

• Assist in tracking and responding to requests for additional work.
• Manage cost claims and Extension of Time requests from and to subcontractors.
• Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors.
• Track monthly billing and payments to subcontractors.
• Prepare the monthly Work Markets activity report.

Coordination & Risk Management

• Coordinate with other project disciplines (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning) to ensure subcontractors can execute their work scope without disruption.
• Anticipate potential issues to protect company interests against subcontractor claims.

Field Engagement

• Conduct regular site visits.
• Participate in HSE inspection visits.
• Engage with the project construction environment and multiple nationalities in an international setting.

Qualifications & Experience

• General engineering school degree.
• Age 18 to 28 years old (required for V.I.E program).
• French or European nationality (required for V.I.E program).
