وصف الوظيفة
Role Overview
Videographer (Real Estate) at MIRA Construction, based in Dubai. Full-time hybrid position. You will manage complete video production cycles—shooting and editing—on a consistent weekly basis, delivering up to 30 finished videos per month.
Role Purpose
To produce clean, on-brand video content across multiple formats for marketing and social media channels. You work from structured briefs provided by the marketing and social media management teams, focusing on technical excellence in visuals, lighting, audio, and on-camera direction, while meeting tight publication deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Shoot Planning & Execution
- Plan and run shoots according to the monthly content plan agreed with the marketing team and social media manager.
- Set up and operate camera, lighting, and sound on location as a one-person crew.
- Coordinate access and permissions ahead of shoots in collaboration with the team.
- Maintain all equipment so it is charged, working, and ready on every shoot day.
On-Camera Direction
- Direct talent in front of the lens—keep speakers on script, ensure text is delivered properly, and control how they look and sound in frame.
- Build confidence with non-professional presenters, making them comfortable while maintaining script compliance and visual/audio consistency.
Content Production
- Film all four content types: talking-head pieces, reportage, vertical short-form, and longer formats when required.
- Edit all footage you shoot, including cuts, pacing, subtitles, music, basic colour and sound correction, and export in correct aspect ratios.
- Deliver finished videos by agreed deadlines—up to 30 per month.
Asset Management & Organization
- Keep footage organised with sensible file naming, backups, archive, and source files handed over to the team.
Strategic Input
- Contribute ideas: propose formats, references, and improvements to briefs rather than only executing them.
- Flag risks to deadlines early, before they become missed publications.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hands-on experience shooting video in real estate—properties, developments, brokers, or agency content.
- Basic practical understanding of filming in Dubai—where you can and cannot shoot, and how permissions work in practice.
- Fluent English—the working language of the team.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong camera skills and working understanding of light—how to read it, shape it, and fix it on location.
- Confidence directing people on camera, especially non-professional presenters.
- Solid editing skills: cuts and pacing, subtitles, music, basic colour and sound correction, correct export formats, and a tidy approach to files and versions.
- Marketing thinking—you understand what a video is for and who it speaks to, and can improve a brief rather than only follow it.
- Own equipment: camera, lighting, stabiliser, and audio.
Additional Information
- Hybrid full-time position.
- Based in Dubai and able to travel to shoots across the city.
- Structured onboarding provided to understand the company, product, and audience from day one.
- Help with shooting schedule planning around the agency's calendar.
- Support with permits and access to developer sites and communities.
- Flexibility on the editing side—deliver on time and your editorial decisions are your own.
- A consistent flow of work in Dubai real estate that builds a strong portfolio.
- Portfolio mandatory. Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed. Your reel or folder must contain all three of the following: talking-head content where you handled the lighting, sound, and speaker yourself; reportage—live, unscripted coverage of an event, viewing, or site visit; vertical short-form content with a live speaker on camera. Work filmed in Dubai is strongly preferred. For each piece, specify what was yours—filming, lighting, editing, or all of it. Honest pieces are preferred over a polished reel you only partly made.
