Role Overview
Videographer & Editor at Visioneers. This role combines videography with technical editing to produce high-quality visual content for diverse projects, capturing compelling footage and transforming it into polished narratives that resonate with audiences across various platforms.
Role Purpose
Serve as a vital member of the production team, working closely with directors, producers, and other creatives to bring stories to life through exceptional visual storytelling across documentaries, promotional materials, social media content, and additional formats.
Key Responsibilities
Videography
- Capture high-quality video footage in various settings, ranging from on-location shoots to studio environments.
- Collaborate with the directing team to visualize and execute creative concepts.
- Ensure effective lighting, composition, and audio capture during shoots.
- Adapt to changing surroundings and requirements while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Editing
- Edit video content for various formats including documentaries, promotional materials, and social media content.
- Ensure narrative coherence, visual quality, and technical excellence in all edited projects.
- Incorporate graphics, sound design, and other elements to enhance the viewer's experience.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines.
Collaboration
- Work closely with producers, directors, and other team members to ensure the final product aligns with the creative vision.
- Participate in brainstorming and creative sessions to develop innovative video concepts.
- Respond to feedback and make revisions as necessary to meet project expectations.
Standards & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain a high standard of quality in both shooting and editing.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technology to bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness, especially in content creation for Arabic-speaking audiences.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience as a videographer and editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Advanced skills in video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of cinematography, lighting, and audio fundamentals.
- Excellent storytelling ability, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle constructive feedback and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Fluency in Arabic language (required as indicated by job title).
