Video Editor position at Emrb.
Role Purpose
Edit television news reports and promotional content with technical proficiency and creative storytelling, delivering broadcast-quality output under deadline pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Editing & Production
- Edit television news reports to broadcast standard.
- Edit television promos with creativity and professionalism.
- Maintain high attention to detail, creativity, and technical accuracy in all deliverables.
Collaboration
- Coordinate with producers and reporters to meet editorial requirements.
- Work effectively within team environments.
Technical Competency
- Apply strong understanding of visual storytelling and news pacing.
- Manage work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in television video editing.
- Proven experience editing television news reports.
- Previous experience in news channels or major media organizations is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Professional and advanced proficiency in Avid Media Composer.
- Strong working experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Knowledge of broadcast graphics is a plus.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and news pacing.
- Excellent teamwork and coordination skills.
