Role Purpose

As a Veterinary Doctor, you will provide medical care and treatment to small animals in a veterinary clinic setting. Your role involves diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting surgical procedures, and providing preventive care for pets. You will counsel pet owners on animal care, vaccination schedules, and nutrition while maintaining the highest standards of veterinary practice and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

• Diagnose and treat illnesses in small animals.
• Conduct surgical procedures.
• Provide preventive care for pets.
• Counsel pet owners on animal care, vaccination schedules, and nutrition.

Leadership & Culture

• Lead clinical standards and continue to build the culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Work closely with all colleagues and nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
• Foster and support the highest quality of teaching and mentoring of clinic staff such as nurses and handlers.

Standards & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies and procedures.
• Provide support across the veterinary area, ensuring the provision of best practice patient care.
• Foster innovation by ensuring that Groomy Pet continuously meets the highest international standards of the industry in terms of new physiotherapy treatments and activities.

Management & Development

• Work with management to improve strategies to manage patient flow.
• Provide guidance to intern veterinarians and students in all veterinary medicine related activities.
• Propose potential business expansion opportunities according to real time market demand and status.

Qualifications & Experience

• UAE Small Animal License required.
• Foreign candidates with a good background in small animal veterinary medicine will be considered.
• Enthusiasm for small animals.
