Very Urgent : Flexcube Developer for Bahrain

Role Overview

Flexcube Developer for VAM Systems' Bahrain operations. The selected candidate will join VAM Systems – Bahrain and be deputed to a leading bank in Bahrain.

Role Purpose

Develop, integrate, and maintain Flexcube banking solutions and related applications. Design and deliver data-driven reports, dashboards and interfaces while supporting the full development lifecycle for core banking systems and external integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Integration & Interfacing

• Lead Flexcube integration and interfacing of external systems with Flexcube 12.x core banking system.
• Develop Flexcube Web Services.

Reporting & Analytics

• Deliver reports and dashboards development for MIS and customized reporting.
• Create data-driven reports and dashboards through Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) tool.

Application Development

• Develop software applications with a mix of GUI and server-side development.
• Establish front-end GUI design and development.
• Deliver mobile application development.

Maintenance & Support

• Maintain, debug and solve problems of existing applications.
• Manage database for Oracle and Microsoft SQL.
• Support and participate in code reviews, by and for peers.

Analysis & Planning

• Analyze business requirements for estimating development efforts and documentation.
• Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
• Create innovative technical design and creation of technical specifications.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform unit testing and integrated system testing.
• Develop test cases and perform test scenarios.
• Apply standard security measures throughout the processes.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Create technical documentation that shares knowledge effectively.
• Manage projects planning and management of tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years' experience as a developer with ASP.NET/VB.NET technologies.
• Experience in the Banking and Finance sectors.
• Experience in interfacing systems and online transactions.
• Proven experience in Flexcube Web Services.
• Experience in using Oracle Web Logic Server including the queuing mechanism for Flexcube notifications.
• Knowledge in ATM interfacing technologies.
• SWIFT Standards and Messaging experience.

Skills & Competencies

• FLEXCUBE 12.x knowledge and database experience.
• Flexcube interfaces development.
• Oracle OBIEE report development.
• .NET experience.
• Solid understanding of the full development lifecycle.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and quickly learn new concepts and software.
• Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented and responsible team player.
• IBM MQ systems knowledge.
• Microsoft SharePoint Development and Administration.
• JQuery or similar technologies experience.
• Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and C#/VB.NET expertise.
