Role Overview
Vehicle Inspector at Bayut | dubizzle, based in the United Arab Emirates. You will conduct detailed inspections on cars of all body types for the dubizzle Cars team, preparing comprehensive reports on mechanical, electrical, paint, underbody condition, and onboard diagnostics.

Role Purpose
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections across all body types, qualify cars for entry into the organization's ecosystem, and prepare detailed reports documenting mechanical, electrical, paint, underbody condition, and any damage or areas requiring attention.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Inspection & Diagnostics
- Inspect automotive vehicles to ensure compliance with emission standards and governmental regulations.
- Inspect vehicles to derive conclusions about the functionality and performance of the engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, interior, electricals, air-conditioners, tyres, and ECU/Sensors.
- Inspect vehicles to derive conclusions about paint synergy and any accidental or wear-and-tear damage.
- Inspect vehicles to derive conclusions about any missing, dysfunctional, or illegal part or equipment.
- Conduct onboard diagnostic checks as part of the inspection process.
Maintenance & Compliance
- Check preventive maintenance programs.
- Investigate complaints, accidents, auction history, and total loss claims.
- Conduct VIN investigation for previous records in the inspection directory.
Reporting & Documentation
- Take professional photographs of the car being inspected.
- Take pictures of errors and findings while conducting the inspection.
- Prepare reports for cars that have been inspected by you.
- Review reports through the list of post-inspection checkpoints to conclude report preparation.
- Suggest improvements to vehicles that fail inspection when required.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with the Team Leader in case of critical findings of the investigation or confusion to get approval.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School or Mechanical Diploma.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- 5 or more years of experience as a vehicle inspector.
- Mechanical and electrical work experience in automotive.
- Automotive Certification (Good to have).
