Role Overview
Valve Shop Technician II at KBR, responsible for maintaining rotating equipment in good condition and carrying out installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment and mechanical systems to required standards.

Role Purpose
To maintain rotating equipment in optimal condition and supervise maintenance technicians in the execution of installation, maintenance, and repair activities for rotating equipment and mechanical systems according to established standards.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Allocation
- Allocate maintenance activities to various technicians and assemble the team.
- Supervise all ongoing jobs and update progress to Foreman.
- Organize manpower resources, equipment, and materials availability.
- Provide technical advice to technicians on proper tools and equipment usage.
Execution & Coordination
- Arrange necessary work permits before starting work.
- Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, and Technical departments to execute and complete jobs.
- Ensure SAP data input, history, and actual hours are maintained.
Compliance & Safety
- Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance of safe work practices, hazardous work regulations, and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
- Encourage reporting of near misses, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts.
- Participate in safety audits.
Meetings & Training
- Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
- Attend safety and technical training as scheduled.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities.
- Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
