Role Overview
Used Car Buyer at Al-Futtaim Automotive (DOMASCO), operating within Al Futtaim, a leading regional automotive group. This role manages pre-owned vehicle acquisitions and inventory optimization to ensure the dealership operates with high-quality stock while meeting financial and operational targets.

Role Purpose
Manage the acquisition of pre-owned vehicles to maintain optimal inventory levels, ensure stock quality standards, and achieve key performance indicators related to purchase volume, stock age, trade sales, and gross margin.
Key Responsibilities
Acquisition & Inventory Management
- Acquire pre-owned vehicles according to stock targets and daily inventory requirements.
- Monitor and achieve key performance indicators including purchase volume, stock age, trade sales, and gross margin targets.
Vehicle Assessment & Valuation
- Conduct technical vehicle appraisals and accurately assess repair and preparation costs.
- Support trade-in vehicle valuations and ensure all purchased vehicles meet company quality standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with the automotive team to align inventory decisions with market trends and customer demand.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in vehicle buying, appraisal, or automotive sales.
- Strong knowledge of pre-owned vehicle valuations and market pricing.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to meet KPIs and work toward inventory and financial targets.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to conduct vehicle inspections.
