Role Overview
OpenText Expert for VAM Systems, UAE operations. The selected candidate will join VAM Systems and be deputed to one of the leading banks in UAE.

VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Technology Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore, and India.
Role Purpose
Manage the migration and restructuring of enterprise document management systems, including the reorganization of millions of documents into department-wise folder structures and the development of integrations between OpenText EDMS and external applications.
Key Responsibilities
Document Migration & Structure
- Change the entire structure and move millions of documents into department-wise folder structure.
- Develop new EDMS profile creation with folder structure introduction and changes to indexing and re-indexing tools.
EDMS Configuration & Administration
- Modify EDMS profiles and indexing tool configurations.
- Manage changes to indexing and re-indexing processes.
System Integration & Web Services
- Expose web services and adapters from EDMS to other interfaces, including Kofax and BPM applications.
- Enable external applications to create, index, move, re-index, and search documents.
- Write programs to extract data, classify documents, and move them to EDMS.
Workflow Development
- Develop Kofax workflow with Maker/Checker concept.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in OpenText EDMS Content Server 10.5.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of CMIS adapter.
- Kofax knowledge (added advantage).
