Urgent Flexcube Developer for Bahrain

Role Overview

Urgent Flexcube Developer position with VAM Systems in Bahrain. VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore and India. The selected candidate will join VAM Systems – Bahrain and be deputed to a leading bank in Bahrain.

Role Purpose

Develop, integrate, and maintain Flexcube 12.x core banking system applications and interfaces. Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and software solutions that support banking operations and management information systems.

Key Responsibilities

Integration & Interfacing

• Integrate and interface external systems with Flexcube 12.x core banking system.
• Develop Flexcube Web Services.
• Manage interfacing systems and online transactions.

Reports & Analytics

• Develop reports and dashboards for MIS and customized reporting.
• Create data-driven reports using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
• Design and deliver reports and dashboards through OBIEE tool.

Application Development

• Develop software applications with a mix of GUI and server-side development.
• Perform front-end GUI design and development.
• Create innovative technical design and technical specifications.

Maintenance & Support

• Maintain, debug and solve problems of existing applications.
• Support and participate in code reviews by and for peers.
• Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing action plans and identifying areas for modification and improvement.

Database Management

• Manage databases for Oracle and Microsoft SQL.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform unit testing and integrated system testing.
• Develop test cases and perform test scenarios.

Documentation & Planning

• Conduct business requirement analysis for estimating development efforts and documentation.
• Create technical documentation that shares knowledge effectively.
• Manage projects planning and management of tasks and responsibilities.

Security & Compliance

• Apply standard security measures throughout the processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years' experience as a developer with ASP.NET/VB.NET technologies.
• Experience in developing reports and dashboards through Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) tool.
• Experience in using Oracle Web Logic Server including the queuing mechanism for Flexcube notifications.
• Experience in the Banking and Finance sectors.
• Knowledge in ATM interfacing technologies.
• SWIFT Standards and Messaging knowledge.
