Role Overview

Universal Banker at ADIB, Dubai Internet City Branch, Dubai. This position is for UAE Nationals only.

Role Purpose

Provide exceptional customer service, identify and meet customer needs, and contribute to the overall success of the ADIB Branch. This role combines Helpdesk and Customer Relationship Officer (CRO) functions under the Branch development concept.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Support

• Provide prompt and efficient service to all walk-in customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues effectively and efficiently.
• Proactively identify customer needs and offer relevant products and services.

Finance Products

• Manage Liability Onboarding.
• Support Covered Card services.

Banking Services

• Handle Debit Card inquiries.
• Respond to general accounts inquiries.
• Send SMS communications to customers.
• Manage Police Letter requests for returned cheques.
• Provide dispute services.
• Set up, cancel, and amend standing orders.
• Execute funds transfers and telex transfers.
• Process installment postponements.
• Issue certificates.
• Issue e-statements.
• Receive, deliver, and process returned cheque services to CCU.
• Receive, deliver, and destruct debit cards and cheque books.

Sales & Additional Duties

• Undertake asset sales activities (nominal during 2025; targets and incentives to be discussed and agreed separately).
• Perform any other responsibilities entrusted by Branch management from time to time.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of ADIB's Retail and Institutional Banking products and services.
• Knowledge of ADIB's Operational Policies and Procedures.
• Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, and risks.
• Thorough knowledge of all regulations issued by the Central Bank of UAE.
• Fair knowledge of service standards.
• Knowledge of cross-sales.
• Computer skills.
